Job Description

We are currently looking for the following for our care homes in Buckie:

Shift Leader (Nights):

1 x Full-time post (temporary to cover maternity)

1 x relief post (worked on an 'as and when' basis)

Various Hours – Permanent, relief & temporary

These posts will involve weekend work, based on shifts worked on a rota basis and will be various hours. (Relief hours are worked on an 'as and when' basis as required to cover for holidays and sickness).

You will manage a team of Care and Ancillary staff and will be responsible for your team members and those residents in your care whilst you are on shift. You will also be responsible for the safe delivery and recording of medication. There will be some administration/computer work involved in this role.

To apply for this role you will require:

· Minimum required SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or 2 years extensive practical experience in an adult care setting, and working towards an SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. Knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards

· Minimum PDA in Supervision or willing to working towards.

· Desirable PDA in Medication

· The right to live and work in the UK

· Sound knowledge of English and computer literature

· Referee contact details for your current place and previous place of work

· To complete a PVG

· To register with the SSSC within 6 months of appointment

· To support the manager
