Programme Support Officer

Band 5 Advert

This is a fixed term post until 31 Mar 2022, due to funding.

Do you have enthusiasm and passion? Do you enjoy teamwork? Do you have an eye for detail and strong organisational skills?

Would you like to be involved in an exciting opportunity to develop mental health services for children, young people, women and their families across Wales?

The post holder will work across the Mental Health Network and play a crucial role in supporting the Networks sub groups and National programmes, in developing and delivering the programme of work to time, within scope and resource allocation.

The Network provides national leadership, coordination and expertise for the further development of mental health services

As post holder you will be:

  • Supporting the work that will be undertaken to develop the workforce, including, quality standards, care pathways, professional competencies and training resources.
  • Support the development and implementation of national improvement programmes for mental health services.
  • Support the establishment and inclusion of key stakeholders in the design and delivery of Mental Health Services
  • Support the development of scheduled activities and milestones to ensure delivery
  • To support the team to engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote good mental health and minimise the impact on people
  • Work with other clinical networks and other stakeholders to promote good practice within the scope of particular programmes

This post would be ideally suited to an individual who is looking to develop a career in project and programme management.
