We are really proud of our friendly team in Integrated Surgery Outpatients and are looking for someone to join us.
We are currently looking to recruit a new Band 3 HCA to provide support in our clinics. Duties will include: helping Consultants who are taking specimens and assisting with examinations and aseptic procedures; accurate completion of documentation to ensure the correct patient pathway and working in specialist clinics to support and chaperone patients. A calm, organised approach is essential.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The department is both challenging and rewarding, with over 1000 surgical patients a week attending the clinics.
Currently the department is open from Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:30 and you would need to be available during these times.
You will be given training and support to develop your skills and knowledge.
