We have an exciting new role as a General Services Manager based in North Killingholme. As the general services manager, you will manage the on-site contract and services to the agreed standards, ensuring that deadlines and targets are achieved. You will also support the profitability of the contract and manage costs effectively and act as the operational interface between the clients and the account Manager.

’s Energy & Resources team serves clients across specialist industries: oil & gas; mining and engineering; construction plus other energy sectors.

We have a dedicated team of 2,000 employees working at over 80 sites in the UK & Ireland regionoften in isolated locations both on and offshore.

Onshore and offshore operations are coordinated from our Energy & Resources segment headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Role Responsibility
  • Effectively contribute to the business development pipeline through evaluation, review and recommendations for additional scope of work and services to the client
  • Host existing and prospective client visits
  • Maximise the profitability of the operation by managing costs and increasing the sales through the development of an agreed budget and business plan
  • Ensure that accountancy, documentation and administration procedures are delivered to the required contractual specifications
  • Maintain the standards and integrity of the service offers and Service Level Agreement at all times. Carry out a regular service audits and perform activities detailed in the service offer specification under Key Performance Indicators to frequency and level required
  • Utilise systems such as SAP reporting, UDC payroll and Maximo
  • Recruit, induct, motivate, manage, train and develop all employees following HR policy and guidelines
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office
  • HNC/BIFM etc
  • Experience of delivering training

Desirable

  • Experience in Facilities management
  • IOSH managing safely qualification
  • CIEH Level 3 qualification
  • Experience of managing conflicting expectations of the client and consumer within one business area
Package Description

Up to £40,000 depending on experience + bonus
