We are welcoming applications only from qualified Child and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP’s). We are a small Children’s Psychological Health and Wellbeing Team who are looking to welcome another CWP to our team. We are based at the Child Development Centre in Plymouth and see children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism, ADHD, learning delay, sleep problems and behavioral challenges. Our team includes psychologists, an established CWP (and trainee CWP), psychology placement students and trainee clinical psychologists.

In this permanent role, you will be helping to ensure that children and young people from the CDC are seen for emotional wellbeing support at an early stage. This is an established pathway within our team’s offer and very valued part of the Child Development Centre. You will receive case management supervision and support from the experienced CWP within the team and/or the lead for the team. There will be opportunities for mainly individual face to face work (e.g. CBT), potential group work, telephone/video work and community working to suit the needs of the children and young people that access our service.
