Joining our existing team at Tayside's number one supplier of construction based products and consumables, the successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of our Trade Counter, including Telesales & Cash Handling, although initially they will be given extensive training in our warehouse and order picking department.
The position is ideally suited for a school or college leaver looking to build a career within the industry. Dealing directly with our Trade Customers on a face to face basis and via telephone. No experience is necessary, but a proven or existing desire to obtain employment would be beneficial (proof of an evening, weekend or temporary position currently or previously held while in education would be expected)
The ideal applicant will have the desire to progress and must be both reliable and hard working.
The ideal applicant should be educated to a minimum of National 4 or Standard Grade General Level or above.
The apprenticeship will cover a SVQ2 level with the successful applicant expected to complete this within 9-12 months progressing then to SVQ3 level, with a completion time scale of 9-12 months also.
The applicant will also be expected to undertake a GIA (General Intelligence Assessment) and a PPA (Personal Profile Analysis) as part of the application process
