What does a Night Social Care Worker do?

Your role, as a Night Social Care Worker will involve supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within a residential environment, and out in the community providing a high standard of care and support. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability or challenging behaviours and of working as a part of a team is desirable.

Night Support Worker will be [but not limited to]:

· To participate in the shared implementation of support/care plans for individuals including provision for the physical and personal support needs and their emotional, intellectual and social well-being

· To maintain, write records and reports on each service user in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.

· To ensure that care plans are followed and important information is recorded when appropriate

· To be aware of the procedures for taking appropriate action in case of an emergency

Where would I work?

Abbeyfield Lodge is a large detached property situated close to Fleet town centre supports adults with mental health conditions including personality disorder, schizophrenia, depression and acquired brain injury. The property has 12 single rooms (8 en-suite), large lounge, dining room and 3 bathrooms. There is also a games and activities room and the converted

garage provides a garden room for relaxation, music and quiet time. The service is both homely and active, catering to a diverse range of service user needs.

What experience do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working with people with learning disabilities or other disadvantaged groups. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you. We will train and mentor you to become a highly skilled professional.
