About us: The post of Associate DeanLearning, Teaching & Student Experience (ADLTSE) is a key executive role within the Faculty of Business and Law, contributing as it does to the Faculty's ambitious future plans.
The vision for Bristol Business School and Bristol Law School is to be internationally renowned for enterprising and practice-led teaching and research that benefit our students and society. The ADLTSE contributes directly to how that vision is achieved in an evolving HE landscape where the quality of the student experience continues to be paramount.
As an inclusive and innovative learning community, developing people and ideas to make a positive impact in the world, we achieve our vision by being enterprising and international in all our activities and the ADLTSE takes the lead in making the vision a reality for our students, inspiring best practice and nurturing talent. With almost 6000 students at undergraduate, taught postgraduate and doctoral levels, the scale of that ambition can be very clearly seen.
About you: As a member of the Faculty Executive team, the ADLTSE exemplifies the core values of the Faculty and the wider UniversityInnovative; Enterprising; Inclusive; Collaborative; Ambitious. As well as manifesting these values in their own contributions to the Faculty mission, the ADLTSE cultivates those values amongst the wider staff body, driving a culture of ambition and continuous improvement across the whole Faculty.
You will possess substantial experience at senior manager level within an education based organisation of comparable size and complexity.
