All external appointments to the Trust will be required to attend a full Trust Corporate Induction which will be held at Carew House, Beacon Technology Park, Dunmere Road, Bodmin, PL31 2QN.

The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

We have a unique opportunity for a 3 month Secondment into the post of Area ManagerOperations for Adult Community Services (Central Area) which will take account of the transformational and unprecedented change within the health and social care environment. The role will manage and lead teams to deliver services across the Central Area with the responsibility of ensuring that these meet the requirements and targets agreed with the Trust, working in partnership with a range of key stakeholders.

You will be instrumental in the on-going development of services that provide high quality care and interventions to the local population and create close working across health and social care. You will be excellent at working with partners, networking and have a good understanding of systems and processes that will support Team Leaders to deliver place based care. You will support teams to develop and achieve against relevant and identified targets.

The post holder; with the support of clinical colleagues, will assume Operational responsibility for multi-disciplinary allocated staff teams and the management and provision of quality evidence based intervention, advice, support and care for services users within the Area.

Applicants will need to be highly organised flexible, adaptable and able to motivate teams to achieve service delivery in a fast moving, challenging and changing environment.
