Internal Events Coordinator

This is a part time role

As our Internal events coordinator you will have a key role in all engagement activities and events. Working across the group you will work closely with our international offices delivering excellent events to encourage well being and team engagement.

We want to speak with you if you are passionate about engagement, think outside the box when it comes to planning a variety of events, are a self-starter and highly organised.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and co-ordinate internal employee engagement activities that are well-thought out and meet the requirements of the business.
  • Produce a calendar/schedule of events on a quarterly basis and communicate clearly with all employees.
  • Organising events for employees to attend, ensuring a range of events are available to throughout the year.
  • Co-ordinate internal employee events for our international offices, liaising with the key contacts in those offices.
  • Identify opportunities to gain support and attendance for all events
  • Evaluate engagement activities for the effectiveness, uptake and value added.
  • Maintain an accurate records detailing engagement activities and events, costs and attendees.
  • Manage event communications, writing in a user friendly and engaging tone that is in line with the culture of Ideagen.
  • Ensure external suppliers used for internal events, are correctly managed with timely invoicing and payment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of external market conditions with regards to engagement activities, both locally and industry specific.

Essential:

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach
  • A natural ability to influence and able to influence individuals to participate
  • Experience in organising/co-ordinating events/conference, on any scale
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and resourcefulness
  • Great communication skills and be a strong multi-tasker who can juggle multiple tasks
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Good sense of humour and a positive attitude

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an event co-ordination type role or within a HR reward role
  • An understanding of employee engagement, reward and recognition
