About the role

has an exciting opportunity for a Project EngineerElectrical to join our BB Kilpatrick team to work in London.

Role Purpose

Assists Construction Manager and Engineering Manager with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets.

What you'll be doing

As a Project EngineerElectrical, your main accountabilities will be as follows:

  • Ensure that packages are delivered to programme, budget, safety and quality expectations/standards.
  • Ensure packages comply with good design practice and relevant technical group standards.
  • Ensure that the package is executed with minimum rework.
  • Ensure accurate and complete records are kept in accordance with the mechanical / electrical control sheet, this should include; RFIs, FCDs, WPPs, MCRs, ITPs, Record Drawings and other project communications/deliverables. The engineer responsible for a package of works will ensure the document control sheet is maintained progressively and that relevant team members are aware of any potential impacts.
  • The engineer will ensure that communication trackers are updated, regardless of platform self-generated registers.

Who we're looking for

The individual should be qualified in B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or have experience in a related field position. An entry level graduate up to 2 years of experience preferred, or relevant progressive construction related trade experience.

The individual will exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and make necessary changes, using customer input to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

The individual will display high levels of integrity that demonstrates support for the company values and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
