All external appointments to the Trust will be required to attend a full Trust Corporate Induction which will be held at Carew House, Beacon Technology Park, Dunmere Road, Bodmin, PL31 2QN.

The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

A vacancy has arisen for a Hospital Administrator to join Bodmin Community Hospital. The post holder will work flexibly across administrative services to meet service needs which will include reception, ward and office support functions, but mostly will be providing administrative support within our newly developed CATU (Community Assessment and Treatment Unit). Ability to prioritise and structure workload and present a calm and understanding approach at all times is key to this role. Advanced keyboard skills together with experience of data inputting are essential together with proven communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The role will include weekends, evenings and Bank Holiday working

The post holder will demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work together with an understanding of confidentiality and information governance, admin experience within the NHS/healthcare service would be desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly as shifts will require working both weekdays and weekends, from 8am to 8pm.

This post is for 28.5hrs hours per week.
