An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Job Coaches to join the Young People's Learning Provision in various locations across Lincolnshire.
Please note that this is a relief posts and hours will be as and when required.
About the Team
The Young People's Learning Provision (YPLP) is a service, provided by 's Children's Services to offer alternative education to young people aged 16-24. YPLP offers young people Study Programmes, Traineeships and Supported Internships on a roll on roll basis in 8 sites across Lincolnshire.
About the Role
As a Job Coach you will support young people aged 16-24 on a variety of study programmes, including Supported Internships and Work Experience based study programmes by offering young people careers, advice and guidance and job coaching in the workplace to enable them to achieve their long term goal. You will need to be able to work flexibly and to be able to build, maintain and manage relationships with external partners,
The successful candidates will have experience of working with young people and a proven track record in working in partnership with professionals, local schools, employers, parents and carers, and young people.
Further they will have an understanding of supporting young people through the transition from further education to employment
A Careers Guidance, Health, Social Care or Employment related qualification, e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and experience of Training by Systematic Instruction would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidates will need to be committed to achieving a relevant employment related qualification.
This post covers Louth and the areas surrounding them. The post holder will be be required to travel to various locations in and around Lincolnshire in a timely and flexible manner.
