Master Scheduler Job Openings in Blyth

Responsible for ensuring the effective Capacity Planning, Scheduling and Management of all products we are looking for a Master Scheduler who will generate, issue and manage production schedules, maintaining timely data recording and accuracy.

What you'll do:

  • Manage Master Production Schedule
  • Ensure weekly planning activity is robust, timely and looks forwards to agreed planning horizon on a rolling weekly basis
  • Maintain weekly detailed load and capacity plans to ensure the effective use of resources to satisfy customer demand
  • Ensure the maintenance of the capacity planning data on ERP system
  • Integrate new product introductions into MPS
  • Ensure accuracy of all ERP planning data for parts in the business.
  • Support improvement projects with a focus on optimal inventory levels, lead-time and batch size reduction

We'd love you to have:

  • Working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous Master Production Scheduling experience
  • Excellent understanding of ERP / inventory control system and procedures
  • Customer focused
  • Proactive approach to resolving production bottlenecks
  • Must be able to deliver short, medium & long term capacity plans and Work to Lists
