An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at as a Systems Asset Insight System Analyst in a permanent role based at our office in Worthing. Salary up to £55,100 depending upon experience The key purpose of the role is to manage the system(s) used support asset deterioration modelling (ADM), asset investment portfolio optimisation (PO) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in order to identify expenditure requirements to meet the business’ outcomes and realise benefits. These activities are currently performed in the Pioneer Suite. The post holder will undertake activities to manage the system(s) using support asset deterioration modelling, portfolio optimisation and Integrated Business Planning in order to identify expenditure requirements to meet the business’ outcomes and realise benefits. You will act as a super-user of the system(s) in order to translate the business requirements into system requirements. From these requirements, you will maintain the system(s) configuration, reporting and integration with other systems. In addition to acting as a super-user, you will manage the technical and developmental needs of the system(s) to include the provision of application leadership to module owners (currently ARM and Scheme Builder, but this extends new or replacement systems for ADM, PO and IBP). You will also provide technical intelligence and consultation to off-shore and IT-support teams with respect to code changes to the Data Staging Area or other data-integration facility, ensuring that solutions recommended are efficient in their running and operation. Liaison on ad-hoc requirements such as SQL clean-up scripts, report scheduling, reporting portal and others as they arise. To be considered for this position, candidates should come from a background in IT Development/Project Management with experience of mathematical modelling, data collection and reporting. You should also have knowledge of operational processes such as wastewater treatment and water treatment and be a competent user of SQL Server Management Studio with the ability to write scripts and create/modify reports, and be an advanced user of Access and Excel.
