The Learning and Development team
Our award winning Learning and Development department designs and delivers leadership, management, personal development and business skills training for our partners, associates, business services staff and secretaries globally. The training we provide is based on the latest thinking from subject matter experts and acknowledged best practice. We also weave our knowledge and understanding of the firm’s culture, values, systems and procedures into the fabric of the training. As a result we have a track record of providing training that is relevant to the work our people do and which helps them to play their role in meeting the firm’s objectives.
The Learning and Development (L&D) department also provides open and customised training to clients of the firm globally
The Learning and Development E-Learning Coordinator position is based in Newcastle and will report to the L&D Practice Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the L&D Leadership team to create and manage L&D’s online portfolio of learning materials and resources (this will include L&D’s page on the firm’s intranet). The online L&D portfolio could include a variety of useful material such as L&D documents, links to e-learning modules; training videos; podcasts; and other useful resources. Additional administrative activities will include, but not be limited to managing our e-learning catalogue; converting raw video footage; editing and packaging videos for uploading to the LMS (Cornerstone) as e-learning; testing all e-learning courses for functionality; and liaising with our third party e-learning service providers.
The successful candidate will also provide an important L&D co-ordination function in that they will, working alongside our existing L&D co-ordination team in Newcastle, provide end to end co-ordination support for our internal and external training programmes (held both online and in person).
The Learning and Development E-Learning Coordinator will work directly with colleagues in the London office, those in our Newcastle office and the EMEA, Australia, South Africa, Canada and US regions.
