£10.51 per hour

The is currently looking to recruit for the Government’s roll out of the Covid-19 LFT Mass Testing programme. Testing vacancies are available at all Group sites, with the opportunity to work at multiple sites with own transportation.

• 2 weeks of Mass Testing – TBC (Earliest 8th March 2021), with the opportunity of ongoing hours afterwards.
• All training will be provided in the weeks before Mass Testing commences.
• All PPE provided.

You will work within a Covid Testing Team to ensure an efficient and effective service for users visiting the Testing Centre is provided. In this role you will:

• Ensure that staff and students have registered for their test on arrival.
• Ensure that the queuing system in the Testing Centre is working effectively.
• Provide guidance and supervision to staff and students waiting for their tests.
• Ensure correct PPE is worn and social distancing guidelines are adhered to.
• Ensure the testing bays are cleaned by NViro.
• Upload tests to the College database and NHS digital recorder.
• Assist the member of staff or student with their self-administered test, ensuring the tests are conducted correctly.
• Prepare test samples for analysis and conduct the processing of the lateral flow test (LFT).
