HR Administrator Job Opening in Stoke-on-Trent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date, accurate HR database and personnel files
  • Responsible for the updating of organisational charts and all relevant HR KPI statistics. Produce reports as required
  • Support the Employee Life Cycle for PFG
  • Responsible for on-boarding all new starters - this includes producing offer letters, contracts of employment, reference checks, coordinating inductions, probationary periods and updating relevant HR systems
  • Responsible for the leavers process - this includes producing letters and updating relevant HR systems
  • Manage the Flexible Benefits for all new employees
  • Payroll responsibilities - carry out payroll administration, including liaising with the Company’s appointed service provider, monthly payroll reports are issued to Finance, process monthly pension payment direct to Nest. Deal with correspondence with the Inland Revenue and Contributions Agency on Payroll related matters, and handle queries from employees on Payroll related matters
  • In liaison with the HR Director, systematically review and update, where necessary, the HR policy to ensure its relevance and to reflect changes as they occur
  • Maintain Absence and report high sickness absence to the HR Director.
  • Manage the recruitment processes for allocated vacancies in liaison with the HR Director, this includes uploading vacancies to Careers website, conducting interviews, agency liaison from the initial brief to job offers
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of the PFG uniform scheme.
  • Support and be a Core Values advocate in the business
  • Support the annual review and interim review process in liaison with the HR Director and shared service centre.
  • Support the delivery of ad hoc HR projects in liaison with the HR Director.
  • Handle all HR-related invoices and address issues as they arise
  • Proactively identify and implement to successful completion ad hoc projects and continuous improvement as required, to support the delivery of an excellent HR service to the business
  • Proactively seek out and pursue appropriate external networking opportunities to keep up to date with best practice and make recommendations for change within PFG as appropriate

Personal Specification:

  • Embarking upon CIPD qualification or CIPD qualified
  • Previous HR database/administration experience
  • Highly numerate with the ability to critically review numbers
  • Strong attention to detail, process driven
  • Advanced PC skills, with the ability to create spreadsheets and manipulate data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service ethos

  • Highly confidential

  • Self-starter
